Two homes on one quiet lot in Houston's art district: the 1923 Montrose Manor and the retro-glam Loft behind it. Book both together and the whole family gets room to spread out, with everyone just steps from each other. Sleeps 12 across 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.

The two homes

  • The Montrose Manor: 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps up to 8. A 1920s home with original hardwood floors, a beamed-ceiling living room, a sunroom with a sleeper sofa, a big dining table, games, a full kitchen with a gas range, a full laundry room and a fully stocked coffee bar.

  • The Loft: 1 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps up to 4. A playful guesthouse behind the Manor with velvet seating, a checkerboard floor, retro art, a kitchen nook and a coffee bar.

  • Free parking for up to 6 cars: 4 secured spots in back and 2 in the front driveway.

  • Small get-togethers of up to 20 are welcome. We don't host large parties or events.

  • Walkable to Westheimer and Fairview restaurants, bars and shops, Cherryhurst Park (about 5 minutes), Lamar Park, the Menil Collection, Rothko Chapel and the Buffalo Bayou trails.
